Baby Izzy
Finally, baby Isabelle made an appearance early on Saturday afternoon following a 12 hour labour – and after the midwife saying the day before that there was no sign that labour was approaching, oh well at least she is here now – and she is absolutely gorgeous. Dad is smitten!!
She came in weighing 6 lb 5 oz which is a perfect size as far as I’m concerned and I managed to survive the ordeal using just gas and air so I’m pleased about that. She has masses of dark brown hair and is the smallest thing I’ve ever seen (well at least since my son was born as he was also 6 lb 5 oz – but that 11 years ago!)

Thanks Keth. Don’t worry, I will take it easy – I have a very supportive OH and my son is back from spending a few days at my folks and he loves holding here – hence I have a bit of time to relax
